With the very long and warm & dry Autumn 2009 in the Loire - I have a feeling that there could be a few gems to be had in the not too distant future. Much depends on whether the pound goes completely down the plug hole.

There could be very good Anjou from chateau properties - La chapelle etcetera, Chinon, Coteaux de L'Aubance and Quincy

Cremant de Loire, Saumur Brut-Rose' and Demi-sec

Yeah GK & Dunc, "sparkling wine" it is. Grapes are different too. Riesling, Chardonnay, Chenin blend. Will certainly buy again when on offer.
