86 off Bob. His highest ever score for this wine.

Elderflower as opposed to blackcurrant with both chalk and capsicum on the long and beautiful finish. However, this wine always fades badly after about 6 months from vintage so I will not be stocking up.

Easily the best MSB of 2009 to date.

Is that the ordinary? 'Cos it doesn't sound like the 13½% "reserve" that I tried.

Yes. The basic is much lighter than the reserve and with no ageing ability whatsoever.
