52% Chardonnay, 48% Pinot Noir from the most prestigious vineyards of the Montagne de Reims; Verzy, Verzenay, Ambonnay and Tours-sur-Marne and, from the Côte des Blancs; Le Mesnil, Cramant, Oger and Chouilly. Despite difficult harvest conditions, the harvest produced plenty of heavy and healthy bunches. Following the harvest, only the best juice is used. The wine is bottle-aged in the cellars for at least seven years. Cellarmaster ~ Mr Michel Fauconnet. Not such a great smell. Very toasty taste, almost burnt. Too much for me, without something to eat. New vintage, available now, 223 stores, exclusive, cork 12% 14/10/2009
