Pinot Noir.

Opened too early about ten years too early according to my guest.

But I loved it. Earthy and rich with little fruit...perhaps very dry cherry but not much. Apparently I will get truffles and horse shit in ten years.

He seemed excited about that so I gave him the second bottle of this too.

I won't be dabbling with Cono Sur Pinot again.

Indeed I do.

I have the Vincent-Escalier 2005 cuvee, the 1er Cru, domaine Les Fournieres, on the south west side of the hill, I like a bit of fruit with my horse shit, Fournieres is riper and fuller than other A-Cs, but can be a tad back bony. Bought 6 during the crunch from St Johns Wood Maj clearance. Unfortunately my mole was last heard of at BBR.

I shall be toothless and bald by the time I get my laughing gear around that. Worth the wait :) .
