Grape variety: 100% Cabernet Franc.
Region: Fruili.
Viticulture/Vinification: Vines are between 10-15 years old and planting density is around 3000 vines per hectare. Grapes are machine harvested and pressed straightaway. The must is clarified and fermented with selected yeasts at around 14°C for about two weeks. Malolactic fermentation is prevented. The wine is softly clarified with bentonite and PVPP, filtered with a crossflow filter and then stored at cool temperatures. This wine does not spend time in oak. Pretty pale and without much on the nose. Slight fizz and some bitterness. Not great.
