100% low yielding Nebbiolo grapes, grown in the sandy soils of the Roero, picked at 50hl/ha. Wines aged for 2 years in a mixture of 2 and 3 year old oak tonneaux. 2004 was a classic vintage characterized by minimal rainfall, giving wines of good balance and structure.
Interesting label. Pale, like Pinot Noir. Fragrant and beautiful. Fragrant in the mouth, as well – truly fabulous taste. Oaky and stunning.
