Made for Tesco by Fournier Père et Fils Verdigny. Maturation in stainless steel tanks. Fournier are wine growers making classic Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé in their family winery. Claude is responsible for making the wine, and he is constantly experimenting with new techniques to improve quality. His wines can be described as herby, gunflint-smoky, combining appealing aromas with a refreshing crispness.
Catty, snapped elder twigs and very fresh on the nose. Intensely fresh and vibrant. Savoury, but with a touch of sweet fruit on the finish. 12.5%
