Well, I am doing my bit. I no longer leave the hot tap running when I brush my teeth.

Hot water and toothpaste. That's disgusting.

Am attempting to taste some wines in alternative packaging straight after christmas - no puns about used christmas wrap needed - and have only had wines from Asda and Tesco so far.

Mel, have you seen the Aldi Christmas Line-up yet? what do you reckon, there looks to be one or two interesting drops.

They're not in the shops until 22nd, I don't think. Am having people for dinner tonight and dropped into the Cheltenham branch to stock up, only I couldn't. Am particularly interested in their Chablis 1er Cru, which is £8.99 and their Vino Nobile di Montepulciano at £6.99. In fact, I'm waiting in for some samples as we speak, but unlikely they'll arrive before tonight. Always good to taste with friends and food. Will post as many as possible next week. I was particularly taken with the number of £3 or lower wines that were really not at all bad.

Actually, they're already posted. You see at the top there are some little red words on the right, one of which is Search, well if you input Aldi, you'll get loads. They're dated 19th and 29th Sept, I think.
