Stunning 3 bottle price !

Big intense tropical flavours. Full bodied from the 13.5% alc and I would guess prolonged skin contact or maybe a little oak.

Similar to Grove Mill and Kaituna Hills reserve.

No blackcurrent leaves or green pepper so not for me, but, if you like the style then £5 is very cheap.

Tasted it last week:

"Attractively herbal aroma. Some residual sugar. Fruity. Alcohol verging towards warm and not particularly thirst-quenching."

This wine is quite typical of many reserve MB sauvs and not my style at all.

Twas one of Jancis top 50 white wines of 2007.

What does she know

Have you tried The Reach at Tesco yet

My high-tech tasting notes database says I haven't.

I only have praise for Jancis, not just because I work for her.

I've noticed that if a full bodied sb is left in the fridge overnight, it mellows quite a lot.

~James May mode~

This is a wine fact

~end James May mode~

This was quite enjoyable on the second day.

Not that I would buy it again. But still. it's interesting to note..
