Fat, creamy, peachy smell. Very, very ripe smell. Fairly oaky, but a good fat, rich white for the (normal) price.

tasted 9/5/06

I've drunk two bottles of this over the weekend. Excellent QPR wine especially at current Co-op offer of 3 for ?10.
I haven't had to look beyond selected Co-op specials for everyday quaffing wines for the past two months. This is useful because, although small, its my nearest supermarket.
Request to Mel: please routinely taste Co-op offers to guide my selection :D

yes, i have a big plan to open up the tasting notes part of the website. i taste a lot of supermarket wines and write notes which sit in a database, waiting for the wine to come on offer.

i currently plan to only put up notes when wines are on offer, but do you think people would be interested in the notes for all wines?

i feel the site draws in people looking for offers and so this is what they want, but if you'd like a few other co-op wines' tasting notes, i can email what i have to you.

Mel, in response to the points above, I initially used this site for offers only but have recently been less interested in the discounts and more interested in the recommendations your tasting notes provide.

I tend to put the name of the shop in the keywords box and look for everything with a star! I'm no connoisseur so picking up some of your suggested wines on the way home on a Friday makes life much easier.

Keep up the good work.

Fat, creamy, oaky, rich... definitely not one for me. Bet it's 14% too!

Found this by accident (I have it under "Fincas") from 2/3 yrs ago. Pity the price didn't come with it !
Mine comes from Maj usually and it is good stuff. The label says 14% and so does the glass. Argentina really is coming along nicely if this is anything to go by. Go, buy!
