Weird, not nasty weird but unusual and interesting.
A bit like a wimpy ViognIer, and likewise used as a softener in red wine. Nose is akin to cava but with added extras. Burnt butter? Caramel? What?
Needs to be quite warm for the undertones to emerge. Very strange but nice stuff.

What grape is that ? Better do some look-ups

Roero Arneis is the grape. Majestic do it as well. I rather like it. Not for beginners.

Q. Arneis was nearly extinct in the early 70's So here is a drop more about this grape.
