Golden, low acidity, flabby and fat. Imagine jelly that has been liquified. The liquid looks like liquid, pours like liquid but still somehow tastes like bloody jelly.

Intense flavour. Western Cape asparagus .....Chablis/Pouilly Fume flint...Sancerre nutty gooseberry.

All the pieces of the jigsaw yet somehow the winery has completely fuffed it up. If Frankenstein did Sancerre he'd do this one.

I've got the Tesco finest version !! I haven't yet - Why not ? Well, we are not going to be very impressed with this 2011 Loire vintage, are we ? Are we ! Unless we spend bigger money and Then, we have the '12 to contend with ! Which will be a mine field !

When I get to it - I'll join you in this confusion.

Looking back, the 2010 TF Sancerre was quite nice, I thought.
