The Blason range is hit and miss and much maligned. I liked the Macon Village for £4.99 at Asda and the St Veran has a huge toffeed flavour but is way too rich without food.

This is obviously Chablis. Dry, golden with an oily texture. Flint ( if that's what it really is ) dominates both nose and taste but doesn't overpower.

I've avoided the Blason range recently, too many 50% offer disappointments but this is a good value wine for £6.00, worth another :qofgoodvalue:

Unfortunately I think it may well be back to full price today.
