Wonderfully rich and spicy nose. The sweet American oak is a beautiful aroma. The taste is perfect.  Can this producer do no wrong? Don’t mess around with other producers. Baron de Ley do wines at every age and price and they’re all good.

Ridiculously heavy bottle. Complex and interesting nose. Beautiful taste. Had had a row of sweet fruity wines and felt like the whole world of wine had become fruity over-night but this is beautifully savoury.

Stinky and unappealing.  The taste is good, though. The alcohol too hot. Overall – no.
