Blanquette de Limoux Brut Nature Antech NV
£9.50 12% The Wine Society
Bone-dry sparkler without dosage, yet not harsh in any way as this is made from  perfectly ripe grapes from Limoux in the Languedoc. Refreshing and pure, lovely as an aperitif but works well with food. Try with a stir fry.

Very frothy as you pour it. A lot of aroma. Fruity and enticing. Quite light in the mouth.  Perfectly nice, but it rather tails off.

Quoin Rock, Cap Classique Second Release NV
£12.95 12.5% The Wine Society
WO Cape Agulhas. A blend of pinot noir and chardonnay fermented in one year old
and older French oak.

Just slightly pinkish. Smells oaky – very inviting. Oaky, tasty and very interesting.  No, it’s not champagne, but it is very interesting.  Not for the purists.

Puiatti Blanc de Noir Extra Brut NV
£20.00 12.5% The Wine Society
100% pinot noir from Friuli's Collio Goriziano. Vinified without malolactic, aged in stainless steel and bottle. Made by the traditional method.

Sweetly fruity nose. Nicely tangy, but tails off.
