100% Viognier grown on granite soils in a 20-year-old vineyard, planted at a density of 7,000vines/ha. The vines were green harvested
and no insecticides or fungicides were used. The grapes were harvested in Sept 2010 by hand and with a yield of 32hl/ha. The juice was
cold-fermented at 15°C, 80% in oak barrels (2 or 3 years old) and the remaining 20% in tank. Winemaker Anthony Vallet. Suitable for
vegetarians and vegans. Alc 13.08%, pH 3.31. Waitrose Wine Direct and 1 branch.

Lovely peachy aroma. Very full-flavoured. Lovely. I’ve slightly fallen out with Condrieu recently, but this is gorgeous. Savoury, lightly oaky, long and intense. The alcohol doesn’t burn your mouth, which is a welcome change.
