Be nice to me. MW have run out of JE 2010. There may be no more anywhere. All the supermarket own label MSB's are poor. This one is pointless and, for the quality, expensive even at £6.99.

I believe MSB normally stands for a generic Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand. So presumably in this context the meaning is the wine is an 'MSB like' Chilean wine.

Well now, renowned in the streets of Santiago....New, new world SB..... Maipo sauvignon blanc ! Very popular in the bars of latin Americas today. Wanna know the origin of this ......The Rothchild's sent their oenologists down there in the mid '90's to sort it. After acquiring 200 hectares of prime terrior along the coastal region, they retired to the beach to investigate the local talent. :wink:

Full marks for my fantasy spat.

Considering MSB. of course, the Lafite guys only did Mendoza Sb ..... Errrrr Mendoza Malbec and red blends in the earlier days, but they might be all over the south Americas by now. It was possibly the West End premier of Evita that got those guys so interested :wink:

Acquire A vineyard for a song - pay the wages, and yur in there from the off.

BTW - Jacquart'04 had a lovely flavour, but don't expect much wholemeal bready yeast or toasty bits - just clean, very easy, not dry dry, popular with all, and a posh moooooose. All in all, just right for the occasion.
