Cotes du Rhone Belleruche, M Chapoutier 2009 £8.99 Majestic
Sweet, berry fruit. Bright, juicy acidity. Very drinkable. Begging for food.

Totally agree. The wine can be bought with 20% off and is an absolute steal for £6.99 when I last bought from Majestic.

When open for a day, the sweetness subsides a little and the richness comes up very well. Good grenache brightness to that quite modern CdR style.

Perfectly good as an apperatif. Having been opened, after a day in the pantry, or when beathing in the glass, even easier. Can be drunk at larder floor, cooler temp, yeah...better lift from the Grenache and fresher. when not up to warmish room temp.

Nice - does emulate the Belleruche '07 vintage, praps a tad less classic.

Shez, I'm sure you could drink this :)

Belleruche 2009 back to £8.99. I still bought a few.

The Vidal Fleury CdR 2009 is back to £8.99 as well, the general Rhone discount campaign has finished. I bought a pair, Mel has given it a thumbs up at £8.34.
