£4 off when you buy 2 bottles

Not really my cup of tea
Quite sweet with violet notes that I typically associate with Malbec
12 months in oak isnt overly evident. Lacks complexity
I couldn't really determine what makes this this a Gran Reserva as no noticable difference from the reserva wine
Save the money and get the reserva if you must

I drunk a bottle of the Reserva a couple of weeks ago. It was a bit ferocious on the tannin front, but otherwise I thought it was pretty decent.

Have you tried the Bin 28 yet?

I must 'ave another look at these Peruvian "goats head soup" GR Mals again, I'm out-a-touch with current trends  I should know this.

Shez, you're getting picky ! Three quarters of this nation's wino fraturnity, will part with thirteen knicker, just cos they can paint the bleeding fence in one coat with it - Duh.

Sorry Shez - Off topic

On the P Bin 28 - Paul, you said it was bloody nice but decades before the ready window ! - So, with aged clarets and declining *Chablis and other fragile stuff that is peaking in the rack, it seems a bid mad to break one open just now. We trust ya opinion for sure, Paul...... So I'm keeping the black box intact.

*If you scored the '08 Gilles de la Tour chab 1er vaillons from Tesco last year for a tenner delivered, clear before the end of the Summer.

I've had a bottle of the bin 28 and given 2 away as gifts

Made a basic note after tasting:
Nice. Deep, rich and fruity. Needs leaving a while to develop

will try and see if I can hold off revisiting before 2014
