Lady Goosegogs bought 4 of these for her girls night in. Awful blue screwcap is off putting but the wine is spot on. Apple, hint of toffeed butter and chalk.

I was less impressed the last time I had a Louis Jadot Macon ( although, I was more impressed by the creamy yellow screwcap and label. ) This is as good as the Aldi wine but not better.

Still '10 - still £5 - still very good.

Quite a deep colour. Lightly fruity nose. Pleasant enough. Simple, fair-quality, dry white wine, with some weighty lees. Not bad

There has been some positive bottle development since our lady tried this wine.

Kept it's structure into days 2 and 3 (as per new regime). Still nice, and these days a really good fiver's worth. Prefers to be not too cold.
