A load of vanilla on the nose. Very vanilla flavoured as well. The price is a bit steep but this is a popular style of wine and so worth getting when it's reduced.

Dark, sweet and spicy. Bears no resemblance to anything grown in the Loire. Dry and stalky but with a fair wack of fruit. Not bad.
