Casillero Pinot Grigio 2010, which is available from Waitrose, actually smells of wine, rather than a light dusting of sulphur. It smells fruity and inviting, almost making your mouth water just by smelling it. Karen was reminded of a tropical fruit smoothie. The taste is juicy, limey and fresh – unrecognisable as the same grape as other examples. I’d buy it for home use, and that’s saying something.
