AKA 43 Degrees

Bob C gives the 2009 92 pts and the 2010 a measley 84.

Bob is wrong. There is only one or two points between the two. they are both fantastic. I think the 2009 is slightly better but I will be perfectly happy with the 2010 when it runs out. It is almost identical to the block 19 2010 but with the slight pith replaced with a herbaceous streak. Its aroma is peapod like the 19, but a little subdued in comparison. The herbal element is stronger in the 2009 or it could be it has had longer to intergrate. Neither had the meadow aroma of the 2008 which I had not so long ago so it could be something which grows with age. We will see.

The PB 19 has greater purity, so I think Goose would prefer it over these. But the PB 3 is more to my taste.

:qofgold:

Also, I see the offer price for the PB in majestic is now £12.99 so this could be considered a bargain.

Sounds lovely, actually.

None at my nearest Costco. Kim Crawford and Mount Riley.

You know what a meadow smells like ?

You're obviously a big girly saxon wuss in need of a slap

Surprisingly...no!
A branch that I don't normally visit has a small vertical woody-shelvy display, a bit like WR finewine. Ankle level corner slot, there it was.
Worth a go?

Pungent wine with an almost floral influence to its fine tropical fruit flavours. Very pretty though quite concentrated Sauvignon Blanc in a distinctive and unusual style. A hint of sweetness adds length.

2007 rated 85 Bob Campbell

Hmmm. Not sure what to make of that.

That sounds like hedged bets and ac / dc
Shiite, didn't note the vintage, will re-visit, might try one. Just in case the local zombies turn wine lovers.
D/y tomorrow 0700 - 1800, weather going pear-shaped. We'll see.

Had another of the 2009 of this over the weekend. It's divine.

It just disappears too.
