Drinkable or wott? 100% verdejo and with un peu d'influence from Bx this goes down a treat. Can't nail it however. A little oily, a little catty, a little dry finish. and more. There it was.....gone! Probably won't buy more but did enjoy it. And yes, of course I'm sober. Trusssssssst in me.

There are some decent reviews for this, 88/100 from Wine Gang.

Winter approaches, Verdejo / Viura- more of a summer wine but that shouldnt stop you enjoying it.

How topical. I have just restarted my computer after moving the room around from it's summer to winter format. In summer it is in the window and I get the sun and am able to spy on the populace. In winter I have to clear the radiator. I also vacuum at this time each year whether it needs it or not.

I love this wine, in particular, but Rueda generally. We don't discuss it enough. It's very Sauvignon like and you goggers ought to like it.

On to 2010 and on to £6.49. Still (consistently) lovely. Now a firm regular.

I had the Riscal Rueda 09 in Spain last year. I have to say I was disappointed. I was expecting much more.

I was surprised that while I was there I could not find a single oak aged white.

Should one start a new thread ? Nah ! One of this wine's assets is consistency.
2011 now and still really drinkable. Somehow disparrued from Maj site but I bought this within the last 6 weeks at £6.49. Magic stuff...no pretentions but dangerously quaffable.
