Glad you like it Tribs. Its my inherent sweet tooth that demands a look in too, I suspect it will grow on me.

My other case of six just arrived.

The "Les Pionniers" which was also on this half price offer / mistake (along with the Nerello Mascelese, which went out of stock before I could order) is probably the better of the two. It has a little more sweet fruit for a start. Perhaps not as much herbs but the clag is not helping. Was a little cheaper too. £5.99 standard price. Nice easy Southern French red which is probably more like what you were hoping for from the Parc, GK.

Les Pionniers Rouge 2009

Just had another glass of the Parc and its not as dry as I recall. It has a bit more complexity. Nose is certainly better. I look forward to tasting both of these in rude health.

The Parc was certainly better for me on day three.

Thanks, Ba. What can I use them on? Wine purchases?

I opened another bottle of this on Tues eve, had last night with home-made burgers. Its certainly growing on me, there's a lovely focus to it. Do you suppose there is a greater chance of bottle variation with organic wine?

I see M&S now sell it in six bottle cases, £7.49 a bottle.
