Subtle Marlborough style passion fruit and capsicum. Very good. For once the high alcohol doesn't show and nor does the oak.

Very nice and a big step up on MSB at this price.

The Secano Estate pinot rose 2009 won a gold. But it was out of stock so I bought this instead.

Hooray !

Sorry, meant to post this on Quaffers Quaffed.

At last, the wild, wild west agrees with the g*d of wine. I got mine at £5.69 so nah-nah, nah-nah, naaaahh-nah. Post is in the OQ listings.

Hmmmmmmmmmm...when chilled the oak begins to dominate the fruit. It gets sweeter and fuller.

Still nice though.

Sorry Ba I did type Secano into the search but couldn't find you.

Interesting how such a small amount of oak has a big impact on SB.

Tried the 08 recently, and will look for this vintage when next on offer.

I honestly had no idea there was any oak in this :?

think it only tends to be a small amount put through oak

Similar case with the Errazuriz Single Vineyard SB 09 I tried where the oak was pretty undetecable
