"Half price offer" and can find no comments at all. Can't remember seeing it before either. Pleasant simple swigger, almost Chilean in nature. Doesn't scream "SB" but a decent glug for a fiver.

I'm beginning to comprehend this "day 2" concept, alien as it seemed to me. Much deeper/darker this evening and gone all complex on me. Nice in fact. It is after the Ligny however and that may be part of it. A good £5s though.

Good, you might discover something else

I told you that the £5 -7 quid Chablis, the Ligny was subtle, and the Inox notes, so you knew what to expect - No surprises then :o

There is bottle variance with that Chateau Ligny, cos Mel said there was some richness, We are use to this sort of Chablis, so we appreciate one that is reasonably balanced for that sort of tiny money.

Ba, if you ever drunk some of those rarified Kate Moss chablis with mean attitude, and much bigger money which are / or were very trendy, you'd find Ligny rather acceptable, and with some flesh on the bones.

But there you go. It's about expectation.

That Laroche 1er that you said you enjoyed was nearer £20 quid, I bet, was the Bearoy which is a fuller style, probably a riper style.

For the dosh -Mel and I like it - So there
