This already had £2 off when hit with the overall -25% deal. VdP d'Oc covers a multitude of sins and some hidden gems. Did not expect much here, and following shortly after the mighty Vavasour, it had little chance.
Wheeee, it stood it's ground. Needs to be quite cold, when it shows good fruit, a little barley sugar (sorrrry Dunc) and even a little of Goose's favourites. It does leave the mouth a little dry though and I will probably not buy more but at £3.69 a right little cracker.

I have had the Shiraz on an identical offer (£2 off then 25%)

Was very good for the price. Sweet fruity and new worldy.

Ha ha - I've tried the Chardonnay at £6.99 less (25%) = £5.24. Actually it was ok for a central France vin de pays Chard. Interesting that you found the finish drying, if I remember right, exactly the same feeling with this varietal, short finish, then drying gums and palate....Odd. I wonder what they use for fining or preserving, or some other process ?
