Thanks D, I will probably give this one a miss for now, or see if I can grab just the one.

Sometimes we are a little slow off the mark.

I had seen Wizz's heads up days ago and despite being in Tesco several times and in vicinity of several more I only remembered to check my local store last night where I was greeted with an empty shelf.

Good spot Wizz. Keep 'em coming. 8)

Haha,
Shez, you're meant to be doing a fresh and subtle chablis, Not.... A Coonawarra Katnook Monster

heheh. had been eating sweets and then thought "oh I have half a bottle of chablis in the fridge..."

much better now I've rinsed out the liquorice

dunno if its my bottle but it doeesn't feel as subtle as you're making it out to be.
This isn't bad but I would like it a bit crisper and bit more flinty
for a fiver you can't complain but I don't think I'll be adding to my remaining bottles

Oh well, try one fresh when you need refreshing.
Then, send all excess stocks to me, one a week till October, my house white for a fiver, with a posh label

As for me, relief after a mouldy old carpet the night before

Got home, swiftly put a freezer gel jacket on. Waited a bit, got out thermometer to check, drew harder "cork chip" cork, poured, sniffed.....Ya know the rest.

Shez - you hurl rocks at monsters

I'll check tonight to see if it keeps when open, and, if I was a tab generous in my appreciation.
Have checked this evening, the mineral bit has expired, but the fruit is lovely, a bit more ripe grapefruit pith at the end, melon and a little more citrus in the middle. Fresh and as crisp as you'll find for a budget chablis with flavour.
Next one I have will be consumed in one evening with friends. I will pick-up a few more when I'm next in - thanks for the dates Mel.

Still on offer but at the original £6.99 offer price rather than the double discount 5 squid.

Shelf magically fully stocked again. :x

Just shared a bottle of this with my kids (hooray for grown up kids) and it is just delicious. The smell is mediocre, but the taste is so intense and alive, but leesy, and long. Perfect, and £6.99. Should have bought 6 for £6.64.

Am off to bed to finish the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. It has been absolutely excellent.

I don't think I've heard a single person not say The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo isn't a good book !
A bit slow at first but second half is apparently immense.
The 2 following books are meant to be as good too

Am gonna try and give it a go on my hols in Aug if the kids give me any time to sit down and read that is

Sadly a hole in my life style as well.

By the time I'm ready for the sack, I'm done. I do need that sort of holiday, slow down and make time to enjoy a good book. Fortunately my dear Misses can supply or recommend any number of good novels.

Well I've got the inox finish, but little else. I actually had to add some ice cubes to remove the band-aid waft. The last Chablis that I had was a Laroche PC and remember ebjoying it, but I am glad that I only bought one of these.

I hear the second in the Dragon Tattoo trilogy is the best of the three. Will start it next week.
