Quite a light but flavoursome wine, unfortunately the initial intense and typically earthy cherry flavours seemed to vanish after being open for a few hours.

Good value Chianti (at the discount price) if you intend to drink it quickly, otherwise you may find yourself pouring it in a bolognese and opening another bottle to go with the meal (which isn't good value).
