Bone dry with wild strawberry and white Sancerre like chalky mineral.

This wine gets better as it gets older.

I know I will never tempt you lot into buying this as £9 is a lot to pay for a rose but it's a beautiful wine and a bargain to boot as most Sancerre rose is £12+.

Serve chilled as the colder it gets the more mineral it seems to become. :qofgold:

Couldn't find this, or the Co-op SB or the Tesco Rie/Gew today. Shouldn't mention anything French of course.

Will dig deep into pockets and give it a go - I'm sure I tried and liked Fournier's Pouilly-Fumé when Tesco were last making way for more Blossom Hill.

Bit worried about anything on Tesco's shelves improving with age, tried Tesco Finest Crozes Hermitage 2004 last night, which I thought might be a bargain at £7 but unfortunately was oxidised. Could complain but will probably be sent Blossom Hill by way of reparation.
