Taster

Drinking the Lanoy now..... I like it, sweet licorice with a gentle bitter finish.

Thanks for the Taster notes GK, T'is Good

I been dumping clutter and seeking unplugged with charm for quite a while now. The synthesized, manufactured and over engineered innocuous wallpaper has no place in my collection, nor contrived karaoke, masquerading as some form of art.

There were a lot of real instruments being played on the taster :) .

Glad you like the wine, sounds like a very light and immature vintage port without the peppery finish.
As a fireside treat, chewing young medium dog vintage port at only 5 years or so, is marvellous.

Bacchus may have come off his trolley

However GK, enjoy this video, as there are like minds on the other side of the globe.

1er Vaillons and Ryan

I have just 2 vaillons 1er's in stock, an excellent Albert Bichot '05 and a dom Servin '08. Getting the peak DD for the '05 is something I'm not sure of. The 05 fruit will hold, but precise timing for the smoky gunflint and mineral is the question ?

Jayson was drinking a faster maturing '06. Further, he much prefers corks - As I do.

I tried to by Ryan Adams' "Heartbreaker" in New Zealand when living/working there in 2001 and had major problems. The woman in the cd shop must have felt really sorry for me because I was clearly mistaken: "No, no, you mean BRYAN Adams dear. There you are - we've got lost of his albums in that section there. I argued for a short time but it rapidly became apparent that her conviction was absolute.

Ordered it from Amazon in the end - still by far his best I reckon.
