13% and recommended in Tegree-laugh top 5 Aldi wine's.
First nose is lighter fuel. Very light flavours, no black anything no cap anything, no goose anything. Wee bit of grass. Medicinal aftertaste.

Not seen this. Sounds as bad as the £5.49 one at Lidl recommended by Jukes in the Mail.

Mel - Are there any industry rumours of some wine writers taking backhanders to recommend dodgy wines. I ask because a lot of poor quality wines are being recommened these days.

I've always wondered why a so many recs are "pairs". i.e F.Bloggs Cab S & F.Bloggs Cha. or J.Soaps PN & J.Soaps SB. Surely they can't all just happen to be good at the same time...
Really does happen a lot
