I suppose I was expecting more from the barrel fermentation. There was little on the nose other than cold fermentation aromas of fresh pineapple and lemon. The taste was oaky, but in a chewy way, rather than tasting fabulous. Having said that, it was quite good, but I expected more from Calvet.
