Shez - A very big wine for a bird, too big and tannic for your family ? for Red meat with your mates, and / with your brother in MHO - ready 2012 a tannic vintage long keeping - fruit should last from a Ducru cuvee.

Got any ripe 2003 cru bourgeois Haut medoc, Petite Chat 2003 Pau or Marg for the bird ?

Te Koko - hmnnn Oh yes - pick the right starter - Q. Do you want to waste this on lovely folks, but nevertheless, who may not be tuned in ?

thanks for the feedback sir....
Have a number of 2002 bottles at home - will hold on to themm for a while longer then

Only 2003 offering I currently have is a bottle of Château Dutruch Grand Poujeaux which is an offering from Moulis.

Is this softer and a tad lighter than Poujeaux ?

Nothing cheaper Shez ?

This is no ordinary satelite of the "Poujeaux" standard - perhaps nicer than Chasse Spleen to my way of thinking. Probably more interesting than CS, which I found too damn correct on the 98, These Poujeaux properties have been divided ? Have they ? The french site - which we are more likely to believe says 2003 = 6 - 10 Years 2005 = 10 -15 years +

I have interpolated for the 2003 - but I aint drunk it.

It is inside the correct window.

2003 ripe Moulis / Marg / Pau would be 'tete de chien' do ya have to go quite this high though ? My 2003's are sweet plummy, figgy, mushroomy and spice and violets. like homemade Xmas pudding version of Moulis - Puurrfhick with Turkey. Consider stuffing carefully - a spicy barbequeue thingy could be a wow. Pepper-up the bird - not chili though, not too salty.

I leave to you -

Push this boat out, and you really are a gent.

Must finish this job - see ya.

Thanks for the research.
Having a quick search on Google I can across their website: http://www.chateaudutruchgrandpoujeaux.com/tasting-how-to-serve-wines-chateau-dutruch-grand-poujeaux.html

Think you might be giving this more credit than its due as I think it retails for about 14 quid (about 9.99 when bought I think)

I think this is worth a shot and can always root around under the stairs for something else if its not up to the job.

I know where you're coming from but tbf I've got no one (myself included) that is really tuned in. So if I'm gonna be holding off until I do it's gonna be some time so might as well blow out this Christmas even if it just means I get to enjoy it.
Besides, I still have another bottle for future drinking
