Its this one-
http://www.marksandspencer.com/Wine-Clu ... 1590758895

Free delivery, 20% discount on every case, reduced first case, able to skip deliveries. Ill see how it goes.

Ive been buying wine from M&S for years now, Ive always been happy with the quality and the support. I once took a dodgy Chilean Pinot back to a local store and explained it was from a case bought online. Not only did they give me a full refund (more than I paid per bottle online) they also told me to choose another bottle of the same value to take home.

Refunded AND replaced. You cant beat that.

Please post notes - it seems like a very good value case. Perhaps something for the students' section?

GK, Glad that Saint Joe hit the spot - I love the hot stones syrah from there, but don't like the prices in the steepest vineyards.

You are a perfect gent to try out the discoveries according to Murphy's Law.
The offer pooped up on the 19th here, and I because I am a club member of Laithy's outfit, I thought - Dunc - you gotta be careful with this.

With the kind folk (the Advisors phone number, not the order line) at Laithy's you can discuss the contents of the case they line up for you, and make adjustments, hence the 3 cleanskins in the Oz heavyweights offer. But this is much bigger money. Just now and again, a cold call results in 40% off which does oocur once in a blue moon, but you're still shelling out 70 - which is a great bargain actually.

Yeah, as Mel says, if you can evaluate Murphy's pickings, you will have done us all a big favour :) .

Thanks GK, enjoy your late Sunday lunch - stuffed with parsnips the size of magnums !

My all-white selection (June) has no correlation whatsoever with the present assortment, so can't comment.

I’m hoping the wines are a notch above entry level, the standard case price is £60, that's £5 a bottle after a 20% discount, so I'll be expecting £6 wines. Anything less will trigger a termination of account.

GK, My sincere condolences to you and your family

I have some idea of what you are going through, as my dad, although having had a stroke, did a pithonesque recovery in the dying room in hospital one night, (but is a very sick man) while we were keeping an all night vigil in early September. Doctors were staggered that he came through. I have been organising an army of carers and keepers and maintenance people around him, whilst he spends his last period in the comfort of his own home.
Good luck with all the organisation needed at this time.

Keep well,

My thoughts as well GK. My dad was taken very suddenly and unexpectedly back in '82. Shook me up for quite a while even though he had re-married and I was not involved in any admin etc.
