If this is typical of the latest vintage, then I am salivating over the 09 Ned. Ferns, paraffin, tomato vines. I am now looking for something to better this. Excellent. The JE is dead, long live the king...

ooooh.... Contraversial :)

Good thing is there are a good few examples of MSB out and about.

Would be good if we were to compile a top 5 or so readily available examples from recent discussions and then all try to do an independent tasting to see how we'd rank 'em

Unless we're Ba we might need a few people to help out of course... ;)

Blinking eck Bacchus. I had just settled on JE 08 and you do this to me. All the local sellers still have the 08 so i'll have to order 12 bottles of this and that at Waitrose to get it or make a long drive into Cardiff.

If this ain't as good as you say i'll be over that 7bridge to pour all your colombard/ugni into the Avon.

Oh yes.

Have a care, and maybe a little patience. I got mine instore. Internet orders come from elsewhere and may still be '08

Nice haul, and less than £70 :) Good.
Interesting to see if you can settle into these SB and SB Blends ? Goose.

I wanted the Sancerre that Mel gave a good review of the other week. Chainier Pere Et Fils. It was down to £8.74 and in stock when I was making up the order but out of stock when I went to pay.

Bugger ! So I got a new vintage Springfield for the same money instead.

Yes, the See Saw looks interesting. If I like it I may dabble with the odd Bordeaux blend. I did buy a Graves that Tesco had on offer for £5.99 when they had their big fine wine clear out. It was an 05 and tasted of honey and oak with some heat on the finish.

Not good.
