Some of you may know Mel has been striving to get the letters MW after her name for a number of years. For those who don't know what that means, you can find out on the Masters Of Wine website.

She passed the tasting "half" of the exam on her first attempt. This morning, after several years of gruelling effort, she received an email telling her she'd passed the thoery as well. This doesn't quite mean she's an MW yet, as there is still the small matter of a disertation, but once that is achieved she will be added to the list of 264 people worldwide who can call themselves a Master Of Wine.

Well done Mel, I'm immensely proud of you.
