Chateau Roumieu, (for me) is the pick of the bargain bunch recently.
I prefer it's style, a pale and more delicate sauternes, not so sticky, perhaps more Barsac somehow, or even excellent Cadillac. I suppose Chateau Filhot is the next step up, in terms of finesses and the lighter honeyed elegance that I adore.
Top of the tree of the lighter, fragrant and dancingly beautiful honeyed styles for me has to be Climens
