Between Thursday 4th September and Monday 15th September (inclusive), Tesco is offering customers 25% off when they buy any combination of 6 (or more) wines in store (not fortified). Customers will also be able to benefit from this promotion on the grocery home shopping site (Tesco.com/Groceries).

On Wine by the Case (Tesco.com/wine), the promotion will run from Wednesday 3rd September to Monday 15th September (inclusive) and minimum purchase is 12 bottles (2 cases), exclusive of fortified, fine wine and sparkling wines.

Hopefully managed to double dip with a couple of cases of the clearance wine (my last order wasn't process so that's why I've said hopefully)
Delivery due on Saturday so fingers crossed...

I took advantage of the wine clearance event, struggling to find room for it all, I can't see big T getting another order from me this year.

Plus, my local Aldi are selling Newcastle Brown Ale (550ml) for £1.25 a bottle, ta very much.

We have a walk in larder, one side of the wall has been racked out and will hold 130 bottles, adjacent to the rack i built some bins like these- http://st.houzz.com/simgs/5eb13de401507 ... -racks.jpg
running floor to ceiling, these will hold another 60 bottles+. My wife has put her foot down to utilising the other two walls, something to do with food and stuff......

There's a few boxes on the floor too. I also have my 'special' storage spot in the kitchen, behind the kickboard of the units, its where i keep bottles that I plan to age, plus my port. Its dark, cool and the bottles are laid down. Its a great place to store wine, just make sure there are no hot water/ heating pipes close by.

Just ordered 3 x 6 bottles of the Baron de Ley Tres Vinas Rioja Blanco - normally £12.99. It is similar in style to a good Meursault. A cracking, bright, complex and rich white.
