My sincere condolences to you G.
There is nothing to compare to the love of your Mum, the best supporter you could ever have. You never forget, you knew her time was coming to a close, you didn't want her to suffer anymore, if it wasn't the nill by mouth, the lymphoma would have been knocking her system really badly. Please try to avoid beating yourselves up about her paliative care at the end, it doesn't fill the void, and the medical professionals would have considered the matter very carefully before making that decision. You have your fond memories of the good times with her, and nobody can take those away.
There will be quite a bit of extra work for you to organise now, which keeps you active and keeps you positive. Take care, keep well.
