Probably the best Loire sb I've had since the Ladoucette PF 2004. Golden with lovely lush buttery acidity. Smoky gooseberry flavour is spot on. Will surely improve but is gorgeous now.

I'm pleased to see that Ocado also stock this one. Good general reviews for recent vintages as well

Second bottle was also sublime. JE and VM 2012 are still ( the odd lovely bottle aside ) too rich at this point. They both need a slap.

Got one of these after this rec. when the 25% offer was in place i.e. at £10.87

Nice enough, especially on day two and not too cold. Nice enough, yes, but in the mix with several others and not (to my wallet) worth the money. At £8 I'd be happy to buy a case, but not at £11 and especially not at £14+

Go and stand in the corner with a pot noodle and a bottle of Blossom Hill white zinfandel.

I've had three bottles. Two were as described but one was underdeveloped. You got unlucky. The Arnaud Lassalle 2012 based on one bottle, is very poor. Sharp and flinty. Fruitless.
