....biscuity Cava you've ever tasted. And where did you buy it. The black bottle Frex looks intimidating and lovely. Have you tried it ?

Yep, it's meant to. Sometimes get it on offer, and falls into the OK group.

The Codorniu Vintage is good, as is the Condessa de Flores (both from T and both on offer at the mo). Also Monistrol (often on offer at Sains).
You might try the cheapo champers from Aldi and Lidl as well.

Ca, Va, - Ha, Ha, - Ga Ga.

P.S. Frex Excelencia (WR) is also good but rarely on offer.

Gran Tradicion Vintage Cava Brut 2005 Monistrol Co-op £9.99

A bit of colour. Very much more aroma than the Cape Spk or the Prosecco. Biscuity and inviting. Tangy, long flavour. Good effort and certainly worth snapping up when reduced to £4.99 at Christmas.
24/10/2008

Now on offer at £6.49

I have got myself a ticket for tomorrow's Wales v England. It's a crap seat and not near anyone I know but who cares. Wales v England !!!!!

Am drinking Cordon Negro black bottle Cava for £7.99 at the CoOp. It's good but needs a nutty finish to be wonderful. Will get some of your recs next week.

T have 20% off all sherry if that floats anyone's boat.

G...Having a ticket for the match tomorrow would float my boat a hell of a lot more.
Enjoy the match Live. It's going to be rocking the stalls.

Well it was close...only a '0' in it. Almost a draw in fact.
At least Wolves did the business.

We saw, Real Power, grace and skill, as Wales delivered an exhibition of their prowess on the field this afternoon.

Wonderfull rugby, the 2nd half was soul destroying for an Englishman. The Welsh 3 quarter were immaculate.

G, enjoy your victory, an awsome display of intense power and speed.
