England were lying 2nd for much of the 2 week open event and finshed 4th qualifying for the worlds.
The multi-national 'ringers' of Monaco won the gold.
Scotland grabbed the BetLeek gold in the senior event.

Wales has been enjoying a purple patch recently with some superb results (in the bridge world).
The open team disappointed in the Euros, failing to qualify into the second week.
They did not send a women's team. The seniors came 18th.
