Anyone going?

£50 entrance fee. Let's see, what does that include? I think its just the entrance fee.

Food & entertainment is extra and its £1.50 to taste a wine.

That's a lot of glugging-dosh to see Olly and Reading Town Centre.

Link.

Don't risk it even if you want to pay these prices.
Reading centre is a 5-dimensional Fermat spiral. Whichever direction you travel, brings you back to the centre again.

That's Olly's appearance fee covered.

That figure excludes the £250 VIP tickets they hope to sell by the shed load.

Get Reading aren't the most accurate Local Rag in the suburbs. We get it free thru the door when the paper boy can be bothered to do the round, and it is usually used for lighting fires, or wrapping-up and disposing of Fox dung. Like all local rags they do sensationalise stuff.

The whole thing sounds horrendous. You can buy some nice Beaune for £50 quid, and enjoy with your mates over a select supper evening instead. Not many wine lovers stampede for the crowds ? No.

120K visitors - joke ! On King Meadow - No way - That is 20,000 cars with all the seats occupied, the rest come on Public transport, the train station is close by, but the normal Bus service is also a bit of a joke. No, as things as they stand today, the numbers forecast to attend are total bollocks.

I will report back when I know what my Local Councillors have decided.

The Jazz and beer festival on Kings Meadow is / was a modest, yet enjoyable event.

I once spent a whole day (cherchez the ****** femme) in the King's Meadow Tesco car park.
Nice picnic brekky, stroll, read book, start crossword.
Nice picnic lunch, stroll, read book, continue crossword.
Do shopping, collect her highness, head west.
