P.S. They went to Duncan's place as he said he'd "look after" them for you.

Do you write all your own material?

I write all my own stuff.

I got my first review at the age of 11. My Biology teacher wrote in my school report.

" He has a very juvenile sense of humour. But he does at least manage to amuse himself.

Which is nice "

I have been amusing myself ever since.

No prizes or at least none that Mrs GK would approve of.

I dunno, your Misses GK..... may work it out, that she's not the only mug on the planet who would consider taking you in, and at least it shows that you could be worth having, after five years of hard graft  .

As for my in transit booby prize, you can promote this idea again Mr B. Hmnnn - 2006 BM, very nice, racy and ready earlier. Informed choice. I shouldn't rely on me keeping my grubby mits off it...this vintage can be taken earlier.

Also GK, We wont see any frost here, but you may get some.

But on the topic, the lovely old vine Saint Veran 2008 that we acquired from Marks, it is evolving quite quickly, absolutely beau at the moment, but I would not keep it after the Autumn this year, for fear of losing its wonderful freshness - the freshness that I pepped up also by serving at 9c last night.
I opened it in the early evening, yet it was at its very best just before bedtime when Florida pink grapefruit came to the fore. Lovely stuff.
