They are £2.99 in Sainsburys.

I loved the steak varieties. Shamrock (with irish stout) and Blue moo (red wine and stilton) not so much the chicken aragon. They will be an occasional treat for me when I am eating alone.

So Mr tribs, when you're on your tod. A steak pie, half a bottle of that '07 Cairanne, an easy wingback armchair, then time for a snooze after a hard day at the coal face.

Dont forget to....Set an alarm, or your iPhone gismo, to wake you up 10 mins before the Misses is due back

Finished the Cairanne last night and the bitterness had all but disappeared. It has held up well after 5 days and has potential to be a gem with a bit of time.

The flavour reminds me a little of the Haut des Pavieres Crozes we have been enjoying on the 07 vintage, the quality of fruit perhaps not quite a match for that but there is a bit more in this. Dark and powerful with a touch of farmyard. Only just opening up on the 4th and 5th day though, so I'll give the rest a rest

News today that Pieminister are moving to S.Wales. The lease is up on their Bristol site and the owners are selling it.

All change. Pieminister have raised the capital not only to buy the building, but to extend it as well.
No longer going abroad.

There's a Pieminister stall in the Stroud Farmers' Market now. Very hard to resist. They are so full, so deep and so crispy of bottom.

My favourites are the Goaty one with squash (?) and the Chicken of Aragon, and I don't even like tarragon Mmmm. Not sure Weightwatchers have calculated the pro points in them. Possibly about a day's worth.
