Welcome CV, are there any 'clearance' wines currently on offer at your local?

My coop has got the Boschendal SB for £4, lots of asparagus

Hi Cab,
Welcome to QO. Its nice to have a new member in the gang

Think the boshendal Shiraz is often seen on offer at some of the supermarkets so as you enjoyed it, keep your eyes peeled and well try the same for you

Hi Shezza,
thanks for the welcome, always on the look out for Boschendal offers, bought quite a few bottles before Christmas at Waitrose when the buy 6 bottles for 25% discount was on.

Hello there Cab,

I have had two Bosc wines recently. The 2010 rose which is mostly pinot noir. It's quite nice but expensive at £6.99. The sauvignon 2009 is the complete opposite of what good sauvignon should be. It's full bodied with warm alcohol and has the flavour of rotting asparagus and decaying warthog.

It would make a lovely novelty Christmas vodka.

Goose,
not tried the Cab Sauv only the Shiraz/Cab 2008 which I personally like a lot.

Big fan of South African and Spanish wines.

Hope to find some bargains on this site

Cabravino. Do you want to be Cab or CV?

Welcome and sorry about deleting your registration email. It happened to most regulars. Just so many spammers out there.

If you didn't mention selling cheap slimming or erection pills or the like she tends to delete your registration ! :P

I had another look at whats left last night, nothing at all to tempt me.

They appear to have found a batch of Atlantique Cabernet Franc 03

I wonder where that little lot has been hibernating.

£4 Chablis at my local. 2008 no producer so a Cooperative wine. I didn't buy as Chablis rarely floats my boat and my boat does need floating.
