No. It only got an 81 off Bob. For the first time I won't be trying the new vintages of SC or Dashwood.

The VAV '10 is down the pan by comparison. Bob's score is up the swanny on this wine. Tried one last night - could 'ave been any light MSB. Perhaps bottle variance again ? All I know is, that this bottle of '10, was pretty much ordinary stuff. Ok - not sweet - which I spose is worth 80 points these days - Duh.

That's 10 bob Betty.

Inspired by the example of 2 buck Chuck, Betty goes around the pubs, clubs and restaraunts of Gloucestershire collecting the left overs from people's wine glasses and recycles them into ' new ' wines which she sells for 50p per bottle.

A shortage of wine means Betty often has to add her own wine variants to make up the bottles.

Her West Country Chardonnay is 1 part chardonnay and 2 parts squeezed ferret. Her Cheltenham Cabernet/Merlot blend also has added Welch's purple grape juice for colour and liquidised hedgehog for body.

" I'll use anything apart from pinot grigio " Betty once said.

Whatever you do for wine tokens Goose, you are being wasted. (I'm wasted sometimes too). Have put you forward for the 2011 Ignobel literary award.

I had a walk through Tesco's this morning, I noticed some hefty price increases on standard wine, it would seem that £7.49 is the new £5.99

I think this is because rates have to be worked out on a daily/weekly basis and then shown as an APR figure.

They are high but those figures are misleading.
