Belle Epoque '99 gets a bollocking - without the flouncy label
I've tasted the 3 cheaper ones. I really like the Duval-Leroy vintage '04.
Transparent, very light and airy, tiny bit of toasted buscuit, a blanc de blancs with balance. Lovely actually, when served cool, and outside last Saturday on the patio and only £17.99 from Waitrose for a week ! Well, or until stock ran out - which was about 3 days here - 100's of tiny titch bubbles, visually very discreet. William - more bubbles appeared when the wine warmed a little - we had the glasses in the fridge before serving, and poured very carefully.
Being polite, William Beavington tasting with him is well ...Z&'#$%?, as far as throwing any further light on the analysis - It's Christmas
